Yes, AMD has announced that they’re killing off the ATI logo brand to make way for a new form of branding to represent the upcoming HD 6000 series. According to Thinq , the decision from AMD came after some aggressive marketing research revealed that people just aren’t digging the AMD/ATI logo.
