LONDON (Reuters) – Seven people responsible for developing the electronic trading business at ABN AMRO have resigned, the bank said on Thursday, with market sources saying they are heading to broker Tullett Prebon . The team headed by Paul Humphrey includes Dave Perkins, Kate Cassidy, Leon Moss, Simon Morris, Tiziana DeMacceis in London and Ed Martyn in Singapore. They are set to work out their notice at ABN AMRO, and will stay until some time in the autumn, a bank spokesperson said. The team was responsible for developing the bank’s e-trading capabilities across asset classes and their departure comes at a time when the bank is the subject of a long-running takeover battle between Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland .
