In partnership with Technology Alliance Group (TAG) and the Lindsay and Area Chamber of Commerce, the e-business workshops have been designed to help business owners learn more about the options available for taking their business online, the centre said in a press release. It will be a hands-on approach providing the opportunity to actually explore and create your own basic functioning website, and/or a transactional website and learn more about how social networking can be used as a marketing tool to further promote your business. This e-business workshop series will be offered as follows starting with Web Design -Plan It September 22, Web Design -Make It September 29 and Web Design -Refine it October 6 followed by Social Networking offered on three different dates during Small Business Week on October 19, 20 and 21. The final component of the workshop series is Transactional Website Creation which will be offered in November with exact dates yet to be confirmed. read more
